A melody that stays with you. A rhythm that makes space for something new. Our planned music leagues center on original composition, arrangement, and the emotional effect of a musical idea.
Give the piece a clear musical direction. Repetition, contrast, silence, and development can make a simple idea memorable. Consider whether each section adds something and whether the ending feels intentional.
FIVE FIRST-SEASON CONCEPTS
Each title is a starting point for exploration. League-specific instructions and opening dates will be published before entries can open.

Cash awards would be chosen through judging. Community recognition is separate. Artists would retain copyright, with defined permission needed to display awarded or shared work.
