In a different light
Find a surprising story in the real world. Make a photograph with intent, a strong point of view, and careful craft.
$5 proposed entry · 500 entry cap · dates to be announcedHUMAN-CREATED WORK · MONTHLY LEAGUES PLANNED
Find the extraordinary in what is already there. Our proposed photography leagues challenge photographers to make original images with deliberate framing, a strong point of view, and a story worth noticing.
Look at the edges of the frame as carefully as the subject. Light, timing, background, and distance can change the meaning of a photograph. Choose the image that communicates the idea most clearly, even when another frame is technically more elaborate.
FIVE FIRST-SEASON CONCEPTS
Each title is a starting point for exploration. League-specific instructions and opening dates will be published before entries can open.

Cash awards would be chosen through judging. Community recognition is separate. Artists would retain copyright, with defined permission needed to display awarded or shared work.
